COURGETTES IN VINEGAR WITH SUGAR
|
|
|
|
Courgettes are probably the more cultivated vegetable in Italy.
It is part of the cucurbits family as cucumber, melon and water-melon are. It is a fruit almost without calories, composed by 95% of water, poor in salt, but extremely refreshing and easy to digest.
It also contains vitamin C and potassium.
There are a lot of varieties: we prefer the Faenza bunting. |

We propose them in a very simple and tasty recipe: in vinegar with salt. We prepare them with olive oil, white vinegar, salt and sugar, flavoured with onion and cloves.
A perfect hors-d’oeuvre especially due to its rather sour taste which helps to open the stomach. They accompany meat very nicely (boiled or barbecued meat).

The jars available are of 370 grs or kgs.

Our line includes two different sizes for each product. A smaller size (varying according to quality) for shops selling by retail and addressed to the final consumer, single or family.
On the contrary, the bigger size is packed in jars of kgs to be more convenient for restaurants, canteens, pizzerias, bars or for large families.
We planned these different sizes to make the practicality of the customer easier even though the characteristics of the processing and the tastes remain unchanged.
We are available to evaluate variations on the recipes on request in order to meet tastes and particular exigencies on condition that important quantities may be guaranteed.
